People often ask what my favourite travel destination is? My answer always includes my first visit to New Brunswick in the summer of 2015. The Crowne Plaza Fredericton was the first hotel I called home during this adventure and it has a special place in my heart as I discovered that not only did it offer a great location and access to downtown Fredericton but it was also home to a great pub and restaurant. I called it the hotel for foodies to stay at when they visit and I’m happy to report two years later that my opinion hasn’t changed. Fredericton I am back and there is no place I prefer to call home when I’m in town than the Crowne Plaza Lord Beaverbrook.

The Crowne Plaza Fredericton started major renovations recently and as the new design and decor get a bit two thumbs up from me. What a difference a renovation makes. Check out the before photo from my stay two years ago and the Instagram Video I posted when I first saw my room.

The lobby and restaurants are next and I expect they are getting a complete makeover from top to bottom. I’ve been assured by my friends at the hotel that the food will retain its high quality and freshness and the pub will continue to offer the largest selection of New Brunswick craft beer in town.

If they still have the Carolina Hot Chicken Burger on the menu when you stay here make sure you order it as it is delicious.

Thanks to Tourism Fredericton, New Brunswick and the Crowne Plaza Fredericton for hosting my stay. My views and opinions are 100% my own.
