Whether you are driving the historic Route 66 or coming to explore the Ozarks, a stay in Springfield, Missouri is a must. It’s got all the big city amenities but with small town USA charm and all the feels. It also has a pretty wicked culinary and craft beer scene that I can’t wait to explore. Where to stay though is the first question I must answer. With over 6000 rooms to choose from it could be a tough decision but I have a lead on what may be the most epic suite I’ve yet to stay in at the Oasis Hotel & Convention Center.
The Oasis Hotel has five room types to choose from including King/Queen deluxe rooms, courtyard rooms with outdoor patios, poolside rooms facing the indoor pool and atrium and luxurious suites.
The room I have come to stay in though is the Paradise Suite. Two floors that include 1.5 bathrooms, a living room, dining area, small kitchenette and a bedroom with a king size bed. It’s a suite fit for me. It’s sooooo big I needed to make two videos to share a tour of it with you on Instagram. Check out the first floor.
Ready for the second floor? Here it is.
Of course, there is more to experience at the Oasis Hotel. There are indoor and outdoor pools to relax in as well as a great casual restaurant and lounge for those nights when you get in late and want to stay close to home for dinner.
I could not resist the nightly special on my first night at Fire & Ice Restaurant & Bar. Could you? Look at that mushroom gravy smothered Schnitzel and creamy mashed potatoes. I’m a big eater and I have to sadly report I couldn’t eat it all. They say you always get big portions in the United States and this is a prime example.
If you are considering a stay in the Paradise Suite at the Oasis Hotel & Convention Center in Springfield Missouri I have some great news for you.
- The hotel is part of the Choice Hotels group, part of the Ascend Hotel Collection of historic boutique hotels that focus on local flavour
- Room rates vary on the season and occupancy but the Paradise Suite goes for between $269 and $314 US a night.
I can promise you when I next visit Springfield I’ll be back at the Oasis in my Paradise Suite.
