Whether you are driving the historic Route 66 or coming to explore the Ozarks, a stay in Springfield, Missouri is a must. It’s got all the big city amenities but with small town USA charm and all the feels. It also has a pretty wicked culinary and craft beer scene that I can’t wait to explore. Where to stay though is the first question I must answer. With over 6000 rooms to choose from it could be a tough decision but I have a lead on what may be the most epic suite I’ve yet to stay in at the Oasis Hotel & Convention Center.
The Oasis Hotel has five room types to choose from including King/Queen deluxe rooms, courtyard rooms with outdoor patios, poolside rooms facing the indoor pool and atrium and luxurious suites.
The room I have come to stay in though is the Paradise Suite. Two floors that include 1.5 bathrooms, a living room, dining area, small kitchenette and a bedroom with a king size bed. It’s a suite fit for me. It’s sooooo big I needed to make two videos to share a tour of it with you on Instagram. Check out the first floor.

Who wants a tour of my room at the @springfieldoasis ? I’ve called it home for the past 2 nights and it’s been fabulous. This is just the 1st floor with powder room, kitchenette, dining room and living room. Wait till you see the second floor. #hotel #hotellife #LoveSpringfield @lovespringfield @visitMO #MissouriAdventure

Thinking of driving #route66 this summer? You have to stop in Springfield and treat yourself to the Paradise Suite at the @springfieldoasis This is just the second floor of the massive suite. A luxury escape you can easily call paradise. #springfieldmo #lovespringfield #hotellife #travelblogger
Of course, there is more to experience at the Oasis Hotel. There are indoor and outdoor pools to relax in as well as a great casual restaurant and lounge for those nights when you get in late and want to stay close to home for dinner.
I could not resist the nightly special on my first night at Fire & Ice Restaurant & Bar. Could you? Look at that mushroom gravy smothered Schnitzel and creamy mashed potatoes. I’m a big eater and I have to sadly report I couldn’t eat it all. They say you always get big portions in the United States and this is a prime example.
If you are considering a stay in the Paradise Suite at the Oasis Hotel & Convention Center in Springfield Missouri I have some great news for you.
- The hotel is part of the Choice Hotels group, part of the Ascend Hotel Collection of historic boutique hotels that focus on local flavour
- Room rates vary on the season and occupancy but the Paradise Suite goes for between $269 and $314 US a night.
I can promise you when I next visit Springfield I’ll be back at the Oasis in my Paradise Suite.
