Five Star Oahu Luxury Resort by Four Seasons
Welcome to luxury personified. The Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina is a magical property where guests escape the every day and immerse themselves in glorious Hawaiian views, delicious cuisine and pampering at a level set for the rich and famous. Whether you are here for a week or just a couple of nights you’ll never want to leave.
Located on the western shore of Oahu, the Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina is approximately 30-minutes from the Honolulu International airport and 45-minutes to Waikiki Beach. It’s close enough to all the action but far enough away that you can just escape and relax under the palm trees.
Upon arrival at the Four Seasons, I am escorted through the open and welcoming lobby to registration. It feels very expansive and is large enough for an outrigger canoe to be comfortably on display. While I check in my luggage is taken up to my room ready for me unpack.
I have high expectations of my room considering this is a Four Seasons Resort and they were well met. My room is spacious, tastefully appointed with plenty of modern touches like the smart desk and side tables, TV & entertainment system that is tailored to my stay and a luxurious bathroom and beverage nook complete with a Nespresso machine. I could call this room home very easily.
After settling in it is time for a little tour of the property. There is a separate building that is completely outfitted for all your fitness needs. It includes pools, a gym and rooftop tennis courts. There is also the Naupaka Spa and Wellness centre to pamper your skin even more.
For your dining pleasure, there are four restaurants from the Waterman Bar & Grill to Mina’s Fish House (James Beard awarding-winning Chef Micheal Mina). There is a coffee shop that transitions into a wine and beer pre-dinner spot as the day progresses PLUS 24 hour room service if you don’t want to leave the comfort of your room.
I sampled a few dishes from the menu of Noe, their authentic Italian eatery. Dishes included but were not limited to a Whipped Ricotta and Burrata Salad, a Papaya wrapped with Culatello and Beef Fillet with Parsnip Puree.
The food was amazing but even better than the food, if possible, are the view and location. There are two pools and beach access for ocean swimming. I was all about the Adult Only pool complete with booking a private Cabana for the day. Totally kitted out with lounge chairs, an entertainment system and a bar fridge to keep drinks cold. I happily did a bit of work here in between sun tanning sessions.
The other pool is equally awesome and is surrounded by Palm Trees and quick access to all the resort amenities including the beach and water activities offered by the resort.
With all of this at your feet, why would you leave? I can honestly say I didn’t want to every vacation comes to an end at some point.
There is lots more to explore at the Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina like the private chapel perfect for weddings and special occasions or the signature suites that take the luxury up ten notches. The view from the Penthouse is truly one for Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.
