Turning A House Into A Home Happens At @ThePassionateHM

Are you PASSIONATE about your home? They are.

For my third “find” for 30 Small Businesses in Langley Teri and Tod took me to fantastic home decor store called The Passionate Home. I know I’ve already featured a couple of businesses that fall into the home decor category but this one is unique in that they also offer classes that show you how to DIY and they are in Langley while the others were Downtown.

The Passionate Home

Located at 20506 Fraser Hwy in Langley, The Passionate Home offers a selection of reclaimed, restyled & redecorated items for the home and garden.

A little country chic with a touch perhaps of french country The Passionate Home is definitely a fun place to browse though for unique items and ideas. In fact Teri and I both loved a clock that also doubled as a piece of art.

What really makes this store different though are the classes they offer. Giving you all the tools you need for those DIY home decorating projects. Primarily upholstery and Chalk Paint classes. with a class and the right supplies you could turn that boring old chair into a work of art unique to your home! An original.

It was the Chalk Paint that first caught my eye and what really makes this store stand out for me. I’m sure Chalk Paint is readily available throughout the lower mainland but to be honest I had never heard of it before and never had I seen it featured so prominently either. Classes on how best to use it just add to the experience and value.

It’s a cute little store and well worth a visit should you ever be in Langley.

The Passionate Home has a great social presence with very active Facebook, Twitter & Pinterest networks. So make sure you check them out and if you’ve discovered Chalk Paint for the first time make sure you tell them that 30 Days sent you Smile
