Getting a @MangalKiss with Meena Sandhu

0

A kiss of flavour is a great way to start.

Yesterday I announced I had eaten at all the food trucks that call the Vancouver Art Gallery home. I was wrong. I completely missed the Georgia St side of the Gallery. So today I am fixing the omission and my special guest is Meena Sandhu who also joined me for my first adventures at the VAG. We are checking out Mangal Kiss Mid East BBQ.

We lucked out because the weather was awesome, a perfect fall day.

Located on Georgia St across from the Rosewood Hotel Georgia, Mangal Kiss is perfect for the DT shopper and business executive.

Meena and I were hungry so we got in the que and placed our menu choices. Meena had the Fraser Valley Beef Rib-Eye Skish Kabob while I chose the special Peace River Lamb Shish Kabob. I also ordered a Limonana, an Israeli Mint Lemonade.

Lunch Special

A short wait as this is a busy truck but nothing to complain about. Meena and I had a nice little chat and we kept drooling as we saw others food being handed out.

Woohoo it’s ready! The pics don’t do it justice. These are tasty.

What more could I ask for? Great food with a good friend and some good conversation.

Follow the Mangal Kiss on their Twitter and Facebook pages for updates of what’s next for them.

Only 3 food trucks left to sample. Is there one I’ve missed you think I should check out? Let me know.
