It’s a beautiful sunny day in Kissimmee, Florida and I want some adventure. I’ve explored a theme park and yesterday I spent an amazing 2 hours kayaking Shingle Creek. Today I need a bit more of an adrenaline rush and I have just the adventure in mind. I’m going on an Orlando ATV adventure with Revolution Off Road where they promise I will get dirty, very dirty. I’m super excited because along with riding an ATV I will have my choice of six other sports to experience. This is one of those days I wish I had a group of my friends here to experience it with me. Nothing screams fun like watching me bounce up and down on some off road trails on an ATV in search of the perfect mud puddle to run through. Have you got your goggles on? Let’s begin this Orlando ATV adventure.
Revolution Off Road is located at 4000 State Road 33, Clermont Florida. About 22 miles from where I am staying in Kissimmee. It’s about a 35-minute drive. Like the sign where clothes that you are ok getting wet and dirty.
Chances are you’ve booked in advance what you are going to do. Me not so much. I’m lucky enough that they’ve blocked off a chunk of time for me and their guide Justin to do anything and everything I want to try. I’m like a kid in a candy store. Where to start?
Clay Pigeon Shooting – Now I am not a fan of guns, but… I love clay pigeon shooting, and funny enough I am good at it. Justin runs me through rifle safety and then it’s up to shoot. Pull! Here’s a tip, aim where the clay pigeon is going not where it is.
Archery – After mastering the rifle it is time to try my hand at the bow & arrow. I’m not as good at this as I am shooting clay pigeons but still plenty of fun. It takes a lot of skill and strength to hit the targets far away. Don’t ask how I did.
ATV – This is what I came for. Here you can choose to go on your own with a guide around the track or you can double up and go in a Buggy. I opted for the Buggy as Justin promised he would go a lot faster than if I was to drive it myself and secondly I wanted to snap some pics and video. To say this got my blood flowing is an understatement. Most of the track we were on our own but we did catch up to some others enjoying a spin around themselves.
Mucky Duck – I’m not done yet. In the middle of a property is a large lake that they fish on but they also have a Mucky Duck that can go from land to water without shifting gears. So after running the trails around the lake, it is time to go through the lake. A little slower than an ATV but just as much fun and a completely different view.
Talk about awesome. I loved my day here and only wished I had more time and friends here to enjoy it with me. This is a great group activity. There is something for everyone no matter what they like.
